Week 3 Assignments + Chocolate

EEL Assignment:

·             Copying and Memorizing Charts A,B,C,D,E, & F.          I will be in the class 10 min. early if anyone is ready to write out a chart or more for a puzzle piece, chart B is worth 2 pieces.  Most students should be able to complete Chart A.  (for Chocolate?)

·             Daily Practice Sentence (#2-5) for Analytical Task Sheet (tasks 1-3), older students may go on to Task 4 and Task 5 but do not go beyond Rewriting Structure for Simple and Compound. 

·             Week 3 Editing Exercises

IEW Assignment:

·               One-paragraph rough draft report on Jamestown from KWO, we will add improvements next week.  Bring in Finished papers for the bound book.

·               Underline dress-ups, label in right margin (adj, v, -LY, voc)

·               Follow Checklist SB pg. 21 - (Correction - Name goes under Title)

·               Study for Vocabulary quiz next week, words from Lesson 1-3 - Parents administer

A Look Ahead to Week 4:

EEL --  No new charts. Yippee!!  We will cover Interjections, Imperative Purpose, as well as Task 4-Diagramming.  We will have chocolate.

Math -- Multiplication War - we will give face cards a value of 12.

IEW -- We will continue working on our Jamestown paper by adding new Stylistic Techniques.  We will be on Lesson 5 in the U.S. History book (check Writing Schedule.)  .)   Add SRN pages 92 (Charts),  55 & 74 (Grammar.) Anyone who did not read poem may do so this week.  Vocabulary Bingo.
