Let the Fun Begin!

Welcome, to all of my parents and students.  Yes, I did say Fun.  I am so excited to be on this expedition with you.  Although this is my first year as an Essentials tutor, I have been homeschooling for 17 years.  I began this adventure when my son was 5 and second daughter was entering high school.   I cherish those years we shared learning together.

I am happily married to Nelson.  We share the joy of parenting four children and eight grandchildren.  Angelle(35) and Danielle(32) are married, Nick(23) is currently pursuing a Master in History and Michelle (12) will be in the Foundations Master class and Essentials class.

As part of the Essentials experience all students will have the opportunity to write on a weekly basis.  Younger students will work toward writing 1 paragraph by the end of the year.  Older students will work toward writing 3-5 paragraphs by the end of the year.  If your child is presently not strong in this area, please don’t fret. I will help each student along, and make it a good experience for all.

I am praying for each student and family as I prepare for this year.  I am looking forward to sharing in the joy of learning with you and your children.
