· Daily Copying and Memorizing Charts A,B,C,D,E,&F Copying the chart is a great learning tool! And remember to "scale" the work to the needs of your child/children.
· Daily Practice Sentence (#2-5) Analytical Task Sheet (tasks 1-4) -- Older students may include Task 5 through the Compound structure only.
· Reminder - Additional help for the Task Sheet is in a Special Section of Week 3.

Parents - Use proofreading marks on rough draft.
· Vocabulary Quiz on words from Lesson 1-3.
Students - Write a final draft and make two copies.
· Be sure to make all corrections indicated on your rough draft.
· Add: who/which clause, the sentence openers (#3,#6), and a creative title from your clincher (final sentence).
· Mark paper in the margins as instructed on one copy.
· Illustrate your final draft without margin notes.
· Follow the checklist on pg.30.
· Each vocabulary word earns a pebble.
· Using all the vocabulary words earns chocolate.
· Start learning vocabulary words from Lesson 5.
